CONTACT

Contact snow removal that answers during a storm

A phone number that reaches a person, an email that gets read, and a calculator that answers the pricing question without either. Whichever is fastest for you.

  • Separate line for snow — storm calls do not queue
  • Replies within one business day
  • Twelve areas, Ottawa to Arnprior
  • No account needed for a price

THREE WAYS

How to contact snow removal here

Different questions have different fastest answers. This is which is which.

  • Phone

    +1 844-498-8364

A separate line for the snow service, so a storm call does not queue behind a home services enquiry.

Best for: booking during a storm, anything urgent, or if you would simply rather talk to someone.

  • Email

    snow@blueguard.ca

Read every business day. Include your address and the driveway size if you already know it and the first reply will have a number in it.

Best for: quotes with detail, commercial properties, anything you want in writing.

  • The calculator

Driveway size, plan and postal code returns a real range in about twenty seconds. No account, no call, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Best for: the pricing question, which is what most people are contacting us about.

Season

WHEN WE ANSWER

Hours, and what happens outside them

Snow does not keep office hours, and neither does a route. But being honest about when a person picks up is more useful than claiming 24/7.

  • Business hours

Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings through the season. This is when quotes, sign-ups and account questions are handled, and when an email gets a same-day reply.

  • During an active storm

The phone is staffed outside normal hours while a storm is running, because that is when it matters. Expect a short call — crews are moving and so is the person answering. If you are checking whether tonight will reach the trigger, the public forecast will tell you before we can.

    Environment Canada — Ottawa forecast

  • Overnight, no storm

Leave a message or send an email. Nothing is dispatched by a voicemail anyway: season-pass properties go out on the trigger without anyone calling, and a one-time booking needs a conversation.

  • Response time

One business day for email, faster in practice outside sign-up season. If something is urgent, the phone is the right channel — that is what it is for.

WHERE WE WORK

Twelve areas across the Ottawa region

Ottawa, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean, Stittsville, Orléans, Manotick, Kemptville, Carleton Place, Almonte, Arnprior and Carp. If your postal code sits outside them, the calculator will say so plainly rather than quoting you a price we cannot deliver on.

Rockland, Embrun, Casselman, Osgoode, Greely, Riverside South, Findlay Creek and the near-rural edge are quotable at a zone adjustment, but do not have a dedicated route yet. Call and we will tell you honestly whether there is capacity near you.

If there is not, we would rather say so than take a booking we cannot keep. A snow contractor who says yes to everything in September is a snow contractor with a difficult February.

QUESTIONS

Contacting us — common questions

The calculator, by a distance. Driveway size, plan and postal code returns a real range in about twenty seconds, with no account and no phone call. The phone is faster only if your question is not really about price.

Not yet, deliberately. A form is only as good as what is behind it, and we would rather point you at a phone number and an email address that are both being watched than collect a message that sits in a queue during a storm.

This is a service business that comes to you — there is nothing useful at the address for a customer to visit. Quotes are done from the calculator and confirmed remotely, which is faster for everyone.

The same number. A callback is free, does not count against anything, and is the fastest way to fix it — a driveway you had to finish yourself was not cleared, and we would rather know.

Send the address by email and we will price it properly. Lots, loading areas and commercial walkways vary too much for a number over the phone to be one we could stand behind.

No. The snow service has its own line so that storm calls do not queue behind home services enquiries. Same company, separate phone.
