Because many of them are shared. A mutual drive is one lane between two houses, used by both. If one neighbour clears their side, a ridge is left down the middle and neither car can get out. It has to be cleared as one surface, wall to wall, which is a job for one crew.

I had some clean up to do after they left The utility room had lots of stuff from the ductwork around. My utility sink had to be cleaned and they used my ladder in the basement and I had to wipe down the steps on it

Hello this company it was supposed to come this morning. I took the day off work. They only contacted me 20 minutes late to my appointment To cancel on me Then they blamed it on the rain which it wasn’t even raining in the morning. I do not recommend this company at all. They did not even have the decency to call me prior to my appointment only 20 mins Late, which is very frustrating. Then they sent me an email stating they could come the next day but unfortunately, I have a job like everybody else I was not available They were very unprofessional. I do not recommend this company. We used Blueguard to clean the ducts in our 40+ year old home this past weekend. This was our first time having them cleaned and over the past 35 years we have had a lot of home remodelling done and also had 3 dogs so we figured it was time 🤔. I got several quotes and Bluegard were very transparent and upfront and provided me an email quote up front no pressure whatsoever and no gimmicks. They came on a Sunday which was good for us scheduling wise and the job took about 1 hour 45 mins. Bluegard have what looks like new trucks and very clean equipment. The technicians (Honey and Moe) were very polite, very careful and cleaned up after themselves. They also explained exactly what was going to happen during the cleaning, and took before and after photos and videos to show the quality of the cleaning work. They sent these to me on completion. Our ductwork had lots of bits of wood, construction debris, sawdust etc in addition to the expected dust so I’m very pleased we had it done. I was in the basement and could hear this stuff leaving the building very loudly! Bluegard also applied a sanitizer to the main duct lines as a final step. All in all an excellent experience with this company. The team that visited our home was top notch. All in all an excellent experience and I highly recommend Bluegard. If you are considering getting this done then give them a call as I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Snow removal Glebe: common questions
We would rather not, because it does not work. Half a shared lane cleared leaves a ridge down the middle and the plow ridge at the mouth, and neither car gets out. We clear the whole lane as one surface. If your neighbour is not interested, we still clear all of it on your plan.
Yes, and it is the simplest arrangement. The lane is quoted as one surface, and each household can add its own walkway and steps. Tell us at the quote stage that the drive is mutual and who the other household is, and we plan it as one stop on the route.
Out of the lane, either toward the street end or toward the back, depending on where there is room on your lot. It is never banked against either house. Booking in the autumn lets us look at both ends of the lane in daylight and agree the plan with you.
The Glebe is about 13 km from our Barrhaven base and inside our 20 km radius, so it pays from the same list as everywhere else. Your price depends on the size band of the lane, the plan and add-ons. The calculator gives a range from your postal code in about twenty seconds.
Yes, on every plan, and a season pass includes the return trip after the City plows the street. On a narrow Glebe street with parked cars that ridge is dense and blocks two cars at once, so it is the line most worth checking in any other quote.
